theatreWashington President and CEO Amy Austin and founding board chair Victor Shargai were joined by 2018 Helen Hayes Award recipients Kathryn Chase Bryer (Outstanding Direction in a Musical - Hayes Production), Will Gartshore (Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical - Hayes Production), Rayanne Gonzales (Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical - Hayes Production), and Kevin McAllister (Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical - Hayes Production) to announce the 2019 nominees. Also 2018 Helen Hayes Award recipients, Rick Hammerly (Outstanding Direction in a Play - Helen Production) and Felicia Curry (Outstanding Lead Actress in a Play - Helen Production), were announced as co-hosts for the 2019 Awards ceremony.
